Job Summary
Manage contracts to own the entire planning process from initial sale through flawless execution, ensuring every deliverable meets agreed terms. Plan events across multiple venues while adapting quickly to a fast-paced environment, coordinating closely with culinary, set-up, and operations teams to craft menus and resolve details proactively. Lead and coach a team of event professionals, conduct client walk-throughs and tastings, and identify third-party vendors to maintain alignment with resort standards. Own every assigned event from pre-planning through day-of execution and future rebooking, delivering consistent service that builds long-term client trust. Requires a Bachelor's degree, five years of event planning experience, and willingness to work flexible evening and weekend schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 5 years experience in planning events, specializing in weddings, and a strong track record of client satisfaction
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Proven ability to plan and execute events across multiple venues simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong relationship-building skills with colleagues, guests, and third-party vendors, with a genuine commitment to service excellence
- Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with sales, culinary, set-up, and service operations teams
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-focused, with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once without sacrificing quality
- Working knowledge of Salesforce and/or Delphi CRM platforms
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as events require
