Job Summary
Planner/Buyer based in Lisburn, UK, responsible for planning, organizing, scheduling and purchasing a portfolio of parts from vendors, managing inbound supply to align with SAP requirements, and maintaining inventory targets. Handles procurement for direct and indirect materials via SAP ERP, processes purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery and accurate costing, manages replenishment and supplier-managed inventory, administers non-conforming stock with SQE, collaborates with sourcing for cost reduction opportunities, tracks key metrics (on-time delivery, order execution, supplier payments), and supports change management for new parts while maintaining accurate physical vs perpetual inventory records.
Required Qualifications
- Proven Supply Chain Planning experience
- Knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain concepts and application
- Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
- SAP system experience
- Self-starter with ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities
- Ability to collaborate across various functions and levels
