Job Summary
Associate Operations Planner (entry-level) supports production planning and scheduling by assisting with the creation and release of work orders, tracking component availability, and maintaining planning data in ERP/MRP systems. Responsible for monitoring material flow, highlighting shortages to senior planners, and generating daily/weekly reports on production output, schedule attainment, and WIP. Responsibilities include analyzing and implementing back-end supply planning to ensure on-time delivery, identifying bottlenecks affecting Master Production Schedule (MPS), managing assembly execution decisions, and supporting monthly supply reviews. Requires a BA/BS in supply chain or related field, 2+ years in capacity/material planning (preferably in semiconductor/hi-tech), experience with ERP systems, strong data analytics, and proficiency with tools like Tableau/Power BI. Excellent communication and multitasking abilities are essential.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- 2+ years of capacity planning or material planning experience
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Kinaxis RapidResponse)
- Proficient in Microsoft applications
- Strong data analytical skills
- Experience with Tableau/Power BI
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
