Job Summary
The Planner will be responsible for the complete financial management of an assigned area, including creating financial and merchandise plans, forecasting sales, markdowns, and inventory, and identifying and implementing strategic business opportunities at division, category, and season code levels. Responsibilities include creating monthly financial plans, reforecasting sales/margin/inventory, recapping end-of-season performance, conducting stock replenishment by style/color/size, defining key item planning for basic styles, conducting regular sales reporting, managing inventory flow on fashion receipts, developing size curves and pre-pack definitions, and partnering with merchants to support the buy process. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in retail planning/analysis, strong retail math and analytical skills, problem solving, effective communication, organization, and proficiency in planning systems and Microsoft Office.
