Job Summary
Greet members, prospective members and guests, provide exceptional customer service at the front desk; handle check-ins and tours for prospective members; sign up new members with rate calculations and monthly payments; assist the Club Manager with drawer counts; maintain and update member accounts; respond to member questions promptly and professionally; keep the club clean and organized, with daily tasks and periodic checks; support club operations as needed in a Planet Fitness venue, contributing to a welcoming, high-quality fitness experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School diploma/GED equivalent required
- Customer service background preferred
- Basic computer proficiency
- Punctuality and reliability are a must
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Positive, upbeat attitude and a passion for fitness and health
- Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers
- Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve
- Diplomacy in interactions while using appropriate behavior and language
