Job Summary
Greet members, prospective members, and guests while answering phones, checking members into the system, and taking tours. Calculate rates for new members, update accounts, and assist the Club Manager with drawer counts. Respond to member questions and concerns professionally, escalating issues to management as needed. Maintain club cleanliness by completing daily cleaning lists, performing walk-around checks, and assisting with special projects within the first hour of your shift. This part-time role supports the Judgement Free Zone mission at our Kitchener location.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High School diploma/GED equivalent
- Punctuality and reliability
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- A positive, upbeat attitude and a passion for fitness and health
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve
- Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behaviour and language
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs
- Will occasionally encounter toxic chemicals during shift
