Job Summary
Planet Fitness Overnight Member Services Representative in Hermitage, TN, responsible for creating a positive member experience through front desk duties and superior customer service. Responsibilities include greeting members and guests, answering phones, checking members in, giving tours, signing up new members with rate and monthly payment details, assisting with cash drawer counts, updating member accounts, addressing questions and concerns, maintaining club cleanliness, completing daily tasks early in the shift, and assisting the Club Manager as needed. Requires independent and team work, strong communication, problem solving, and a positive, professional demeanor consistent with the brand’s Judgement Free Zone. Physical duties include standing, walking, speaking, and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School diploma/GED equivalent required
- Customer service background preferred
- Basic computer proficiency
- Punctuality and reliability are a must
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- A positive, upbeat attitude and a passion for fitness and health
- Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers
- Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve
- Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language
