Job Summary
Greet members, prospective members, and guests while answering phones, checking members into the system, and taking tours. Handle front desk activities including signing up new members, calculating rates, and updating member accounts. Respond to member questions and concerns, elevating issues to management as needed. Assist the Club Manager with drawer counts and maintain club cleanliness by completing daily cleaning lists, walk-around checks, and special projects within the first hour of your shift. Perform duties based on club needs while maintaining a positive attitude and professional interactions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School diploma/GED equivalent required
- Punctuality and reliability are a must
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Customer service background preferred
- Basic computer proficiency
- A positive, upbeat attitude and a passion for fitness and health
- Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers, exceeding the member's expectations
- Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve
