Job Summary
Greet members, prospective members, and guests while answering phones and checking members into the system. Handle front desk activities including signing up new members, calculating rates, and updating accounts. Respond to member questions and concerns, elevating issues to management as needed. Assist the Club Manager with drawer counts and maintain club cleanliness by completing daily cleaning lists, walk-around checks, and bathroom inspections. Perform other duties based on club needs, ensuring all tasks are completed within the first hour of your shift.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High School diploma/GED equivalent
- Punctuality and reliability
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- A positive, upbeat attitude and a passion for fitness and health
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve
- Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs
- Will occasionally encounter toxic chemicals during shift
