Job Summary
The Fitness Trainer will be responsible for conducting the Planet Fitness group fitness program, assisting new members in achieving their fitness goals, and ensuring they know how to properly use gym equipment. Duties include consulting with members about fitness goals, maintaining a comfortable atmosphere, conducting fitness classes, managing front desk activities, and ensuring cleanliness of the facility. The position requires a high school diploma, current CPR certification, and personal training certification from a recognized association. Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma/GED equivalent required
- Current CPR Certification required
- Personal Training Certification from a preferred association (IFA, ACE or NCSF) is required
- A passion for fitness and health
- Upbeat and positive attitude
- Punctuality and reliability are a must
