Job Summary
Fitness Trainer responsible for running the Planet Fitness PE@PF group fitness program, designing simple workout plans for new members, instructing proper equipment use, evaluating member goals, providing motivation and support, and conducting bi-weekly exercise updates. Duties include guiding members through equipment, assisting with front desk tasks, tours for prospective members, sign-ins, inventory tracking, club cleaning and maintenance, handling member questions, and escalating issues to management as needed. Requires CPR certification and a personal training certification (IFA, ACE, or NCSF). The role emphasizes member-facing service, safety, and program delivery in a North Versailles, PA club setting.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma/GED equivalent
- A passion for fitness and health
- CPR Certification required
- Personal Training Certification from a preferred association (IFA, ACE or NCSF) is required
