Job Summary
Conduct the Planet Fitness PE@PF group fitness program by creating and following the schedule while instructing members on proper equipment use. Assist new members in achieving fitness goals through personalized workout program design and facility familiarization. Manage front desk activities including answering phones, member check-ins, new sign-ups, tours, and inventory tracking. Perform daily club cleaning and general equipment maintenance while responding to member questions and concerns. Create bi-weekly exercise updates and meet class requirements based on club size and traffic.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma/GED equivalent
- A passion for fitness and health
- Upbeat and positive attitude
- Punctuality and reliability
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve
- Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language
- Current CPR Certification
- Personal Training Certification from a preferred association (IFA, ACE or NCSF)
