Job Summary
Conduct the Planet Fitness PE@PF group fitness program by designing workout plans, instructing members on equipment safety, and recruiting new attendees. Assist walk-arounds, answer phones, check members into the system, and lead tours while upholding the Judgement Free lifestyle. Clean assigned equipment sections, perform locker room checks every 15 minutes, and log classes after each session. Create bi-weekly exercise updates and meet class requirements based on club size and traffic. This role requires ACE, NASM, ISSA, or NCSF certification within two weeks of employment, along with CPR training. Candidates must be flexible for overtime, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma / GED equivalent
- CPR certification
- Nationally credited training certification
- 18 years or older
- Punctuality
- Reliability
- Customer service skills
- Ability to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers
- Strong listening skills
- Ability to empathize and problem solve
- Diplomacy in all interactions
- Appropriate behavior and language
- Training on tours

- Completion of mandatory Planet Fitness University courses
- Ability to occasionally lift 75 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk during shifts
- Ability to talk in person or on the phone during shift
- Ability to climb, balance, kneel, crouch, pull, and grasp
- Ability to never put themselves under any equipment
- Flexibility for overtime, weekends, evenings, and holidays
