Job Summary
Conduct the Planet Fitness PE@PF group fitness program by designing simple workout plans, instructing members on proper equipment use, and creating bi-weekly exercise updates. Recruit new and existing members for classes, lead tours, and manage front desk activities including phone inquiries, check-ins, and new member sign-ups. Actively assist members during walk-arounds, clean assigned equipment sections, and perform locker room checks every 15 minutes. Uphold brand policies, respond to member concerns professionally, and elevate issues to management as needed. This role requires ACE, NASM, ISSA, or NCSF certification within two weeks of employment, plus CPR training. Schedule includes overtime, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma / GED equivalent
- CPR certification
- Nationally credited training certification
- 18 years or older
- Punctuality
- Flexibility for overtime, weekends, evenings, and holidays

- Passion for fitness and health

- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong listening skills with the ability to empathize and problem solve

- Training on tours, info calls, Datatrak, customer service expectations
- Completion of mandatory Planet Fitness University courses
