Job Summary
Plan Management Manager leads the Sponsor Services Resolution Team (800-line and shared mailbox) and the Plan Terminations function, ensuring smooth operation, effective client access, and high service levels. You will monitor KPIs (average speed of answer, handle time, first call resolution, customer satisfaction, abandon rates, routing metrics), oversee the shared mailbox coverage model, provide hands-on guidance for plan termination specialists, serve as the escalation point for complex termination scenarios, coach and manage performance, collaborate with sales/recordkeeping/operations, and contribute to process improvements and product development. This hybrid-office/home role emphasizes leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a strong customer-centric approach to retirement services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent
- 6+ years of experience in Plan Management/Retirement Services
- 2+ years of supervisory experience
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and related legal/compliance issues
- Knowledge of systems, technology, and equipment
- Strong leadership skills; ability to handle multiple priorities; strong oral and written communication skills
