Job Summary
Assist in developing the Transportation Improvement Program, List of Priority Projects, and Tampa Bay Regional Project Prioritization project. Prepare the Annual List of Obligated Projects report and evaluate the performance of proposed transportation projects. Analyze and prepare summaries of transportation data sets while delivering presentations to the TPO Board, committees, and stakeholder groups. This role reports to the Performance Based Planning and Programming Team Lead and supports the Hillsborough County Transportation Planning Organization.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree with a major in Planning, Anthropology, Political Science, Public Administration, Economics, Geography, or a closely related field of study
- one year of experience in planning
- Bachelor's degree with a major in Planning, Anthropology, Political Science, Public Administration, Economics, Geography, or a closely related field of study
- three years of experience in planning
- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job
