Job Summary
Conduct strategic investigations into liability, damages, and case value by analyzing medical records, evidence, and documentation. Draft and review demand packages, negotiate with insurance carriers and opposing counsel, and evaluate settlement offers to maximize results. Maintain a strong understanding of legal and factual issues while helping clients understand the process, set expectations, and answer questions throughout the case. Collaborate with legal assistants, case managers, medical professionals, and lien negotiators to move cases forward. Take genuine ownership of your caseload from intake through settlement, identifying bottlenecks and pursuing opportunities to strengthen outcomes. Work independently with high accountability in a collaborative environment focused on exceptional client service and results.
Required Qualifications
- Active attorney in good standing
- 5+ years of plaintiff personal injury experience
- Strong understanding of California personal injury law and procedures
- Experience managing a significant personal injury caseload
- Strong negotiator who knows how to evaluate risk, leverage, and case value
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable making strategic decisions and advocating for your clients
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities, making decisions, communicating with clients, and pushing cases forward without waiting for someone else to tell you what to do
