Job Summary
Support brokers in the end-to-end placement of treaty reinsurance programmes by developing client portfolio understanding, ensuring compliance, and performing second-pair-of-eyes checks for accuracy. Calculate, validate, and process adjustment premiums while uploading submissions to Velonetic IMR and resolving queries through to signing. Prepare client documentation, manage contractual data, and support internal and external audits. Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of standard operating procedures within a fast-paced, collaborative environment at Willis Re.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in a placement support or similar role within reinsurance broking
- A solid understanding of the end-to-end placement process
- Familiarity with systems such as Eclipse and London Market processes (e.g. Velonetic systems, LORS)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to carry out compliance and accuracy checks
- Confident communicator with a collaborative, team-focused approach to stakeholder management
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive mindset and drive to continuously improve client service excellence
- Hybrid work arrangement (3 days in office)
