Placement Student - Aberdare Production Control

Placement Student in Aberdare Production Control: 12-month placement in the Production Planning team at the Aberdare site starting summer 2026. You will support raw material control tasks and projects, including monitoring inventory levels for copper, compound, and packaging; creating/reviewing purchase orders and scheduling agreements in SAP; coordinating supplier deliveries and expediting overdue orders; partnering with Stores/Warehouse to receive, store, and stage materials; resolving discrepancies in goods receipt/invoice receipts with Finance and suppliers; maintaining material master data; supporting cycle counts and stock accuracy; assisting quality containment activities; tracking KPIs and reporting stock turns, shortages, and supplier performance; and developing planning parameters and continuous improvement. You will work with Production Planning, Stores/Warehouse, Quality, Purchasing and suppliers, and gain hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Excel, building confidence in data reporting and stakeholder collaboration.
