Job Summary
Manage and monitor insured placement strategies by utilizing risk expertise and industry knowledge to develop solutions for complex client needs. Submit coverage specifications, obtain carrier quotes, and ensure accurate program binding while maintaining precise system entries. Guide strong relationships with carriers and underwriters to create innovative approaches, audit commission structures, and deliver technical expertise on marine RFPs. Develop go-to-market strategies, inform clients of major market developments, and lead complex placement activities for big accounts. Requires a P&C license, 5+ years of commercial brokerage or underwriting experience, and a hybrid schedule of at least three days in the office.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years industry experience
- Commercial Brokerage and/or Underwriting Experience
- P&C license
- Ability to obtain Bachelors' degree
- Ability to build strong relationships and build rapport with internal colleagues, clients and carriers
- Self-starter
- Resourcefulness with the ability to bring solutions and ideas to the firm
- Ability to be part of a collaborative team
- Ability to make an immediate impact
