Job Summary
Manage new business and renewal processes for mid-to-large commercial accounts by overseeing timelines, conducting exposure and financial analysis, preparing quote specifications, and negotiating complex coverage terms. Strategize placement approaches for complex accounts, including large deductible programs, captives, and layered insurance towers, while delivering coverage gap analysis and tailored recommendations. Execute market strategies for select accounts, prepare property and casualty submissions using ACORD applications, and collaborate with Client Advisors and carrier partners on placement outcomes. Perform year-end book reviews to assess performance and carrier relationships, maintaining independent decision-making authority to balance client needs with market conditions.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant insurance experience
- emphasis on mid-to-large commercial account placements
- Excellent phone etiquette, written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong critical thinking, financial analysis, and negotiation skills
- demonstrated ability to analyze complex market data
- ability to influence placement outcomes
- Able to work with minimum supervision
- Proficient with MS Office products
