Job Summary
Manage and execute new business and renewal processes for insurance accounts by overseeing timelines, conducting exposure analysis, and preparing quote specifications. Negotiate coverage terms, present comprehensive proposals to clients, and review policies to make improvement recommendations. Collaborate with Client Advisors, Account Service Teams, and carrier partners to ensure seamless service delivery while maintaining familiarity with insurance companies and wholesalers. Prepare property and casualty submissions using the agency management system and analyze prospect client exposure data to develop financial models. Perform coverage gap analysis to deliver strategic recommendations tailored to each client's risk profile and engage Risk Resources for complex needs. Maintain all licensing requirements and attend educational activities to improve product knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent phone etiquette, written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Able to work with minimum supervision
- Proficient with MS Office Products
- Placement including a high knowledge of Excel and Word
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail to ensure document accuracy
- Able to work effectively in a team environment with strong customer service skills
- Experience with a broker/agent, including marketing large middle market accounts to carriers
- Excellent knowledge of the markets
- Strong knowledge of all basic applicable insurance coverages
- Proficient in creating the proposal presentation documents that we identify as required documents
- 3-5 years relevant insurance experience
- emphasis on middle to large market placements
- Must currently hold an applicable insurance license
- Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence

- College degree
- Pursuit of a professional designation – CRM, CISR, CIC, AAI, ARM, CPCU
