Job Summary
Conduct telephone, mail, and in-person placements by asking specific questions to obtain work experience, preferences, and skills. Assist individuals in completing forms and questionnaires, then record data for temporary employees including interview forms, I-9s, tax forms, and skills testing into TempWorks. Make recommendations to Account Managers for placement, perform reference checks when applicable, and examine applications for deficiencies to ensure proper positioning. Input information into appropriate systems while maintaining confidentiality on private employee data and following human resource policies. Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, work with frequent interruptions, and provide leadership through example and knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Clean background check
- Ability to handle contact isolation for primary part of workday
- Ability to key continuously throughout the day
- Ability to speak for majority of workday
- Ability to sit for most of the day
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to key at a minimum of 50 per words per minute
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to travel if needed
- Ability to train others for understanding of the front of the house duties and processes
- Ability to complete general cleaning duties or tasks as needed
- Experience with handling confidential information daily
- Ability to remain confidential on private employee
- Ability to make independent decisions as it relates to the employee's ability to be employed through MS-IL
- Ability to work with frequent interruptions and changes in priorities
- Advanced personal computer skills
- Ability to speak effectively to clients, management, coworkers and employees
Desired Qualifications
- College classes and/or degree
