Job Summary
Directly supervise and lead a team of risk placement professionals, managing workflows and driving strategies for new business accounts submitted by the Sales Team. Oversee the marketing, underwriting, and placement function while maintaining relationships with insurance carrier staff and serving as a resource for analysts and executives. Manage the pipeline, triage new submissions based on workload, and facilitate peer audits to minimize company risks. Brief staff on carrier updates and collaborate with Sales and Service management to ensure cohesive interdepartmental efficiency and exceed service delivery expectations.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of Commercial insurance experience
- Comprehensive experience and thorough understanding in all areas of Commercial insurance
- Active license in Property/Casualty
- High School degree or GED equivalent
- Ability to work off hours as required
