Placement Broker Support

Job Summary
Assist with client renewal reviews, contract drafting, and production of final contract documentation. Manage full-cycle use of the GC Marketplace e-trading platform, from market submission to confirming reinsurer participations. Support brokers by preparing submissions, tracking placement status, and liaising with reinsurers on placements and queries. Maintain core placement files to ensure compliance with best practices, regulatory, and compliance requirements. Handle client onboarding, respond to information requests, and take key responsibility for compliance policies including sanctions, AML, and ABC. Collaborate with Broking, Support, and Service Teams across offices, participate in meetings, and monitor business metrics. Fluency in English and intermediate-level Spanish is essential, along with previous experience within commercial insurance, reinsurance, broking, underwriting, or a related insurance environment.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in English and intermediate-level Spanish (or above)
- Previous experience within commercial insurance, reinsurance, broking, underwriting, or a related insurance environment
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and enquiries simultaneously
- An understanding of clients' businesses, insurance programmes, and service requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence when liaising with stakeholders and supporting negotiation processes
- The ability to build, manage, and maintain effective professional relationships
- This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office
Desired Qualifications
- Cert CII qualification, with progress towards ACII, would be advantageous
- A proactive and dynamic approach, with previous client-facing experience
- A strong desire to develop your career within the insurance or reinsurance market
- An interest in working within an international environment and supporting clients across multiple markets
