Job Summary
Coordinate placement activities across Industrial Training Institutes, NSTIs, and Vocational Training Institutes by building a robust employer database and consolidating workshop reports. Submit timely data for review meetings, ensure relevant information is available on schedule, and monitor industry engagement activities while building capacity for program partners. Anchor regional placement strategies by creating annual calendars, planning employer engagement events like campus drives and fairs, and managing apprenticeship and internship options with existing and prospective employers. Take ownership of regional placement targets, facilitate job readiness training boot camps, and conduct orientation sessions on placement systems and best practices for placement officers. Travel extensively across districts and regions to execute these initiatives effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Social Work, Management, HR, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in placement coordination, recruitment, youth skilling, or working within the ITI or vocational ecosystem
- Willingness to travel extensively across districts and regions
- Placement process knowledge and experience engaging with industries
- Strong coordination and relationship management skills with institutions and partners
- Experience in delivering employability or soft skills training
- Comfort with data collection and reporting tools
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholders across institutes and geographies
- Self-motivated, organized, and result-oriented
- Passion for youth empowerment and the skilling ecosystem
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with government institutions, skilling programs, or NGOs preferred
