Job Summary
Coordinate placement support for Industrial Training Institutes, NSTIs, and Vocational Training Institutes by building employer databases and consolidating workshop reports. Submit timely data for review meetings, ensure relevant information availability, and monitor industry engagement activities organized by program partners. Anchor regional placement strategies by creating annual calendars, executing placement fairs, and conducting employer talks, walk-ins, and campus drives. Take ownership of regional placement targets, facilitate job readiness boot camps, and build capacity for placement officers through training and system orientation. Manage industry connect fellow engagements via regular calls and review meetings while maintaining active relationships with companies and industry bodies. Open to extensive travel across districts and regions to support these initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Social Work, Management, HR, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in placement coordination, recruitment, youth skilling, or working within the ITI or vocational ecosystem
- Willingness to travel extensively across districts and regions
- Placement process knowledge and experience engaging with industries
- Strong coordination and relationship management skills with institutions and partners
- Experience in delivering employability or soft skills training
- Comfort with data collection and reporting tools
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholders across institutes and geographies
- Self-motivated, organized, and result-oriented
- Passion for youth empowerment and the skilling ecosystem
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with government institutions, skilling programs, or NGOs preferred
