Job Summary
Pitch Hit & Run Manager leads day-to-day relationship management, event operations, and data/reporting for RCX Sports' PH R program under a 4–5 month W-2 contract. Responsibilities include managing MLB/MiLB club relationships, driving engagement and activation plans across geographic territories, serving as liaison to baseball/softball communities, activating partnerships with organizations running PHR competitions, translating program requirements into guidance/tools for local hosts and Little League networks, supporting key accounts and national organizations, overseeing local-host event plans and Team Championships, and leading data operations (participation, registration, events, results) with cross-functional coordination. The role requires on-site event leadership, on-going data quality, and the development of dashboards and insights to support leadership decisions. Travel is frequent; remote work is allowed with travel commitments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Former experience playing or coaching collegiate sports (preferably baseball or softball)
- 4–5 years of experience in event operations, relationship building, and program/partner development
- Strong understanding of the youth baseball/softball landscape
- Experience managing event data operations, registration platforms, and reporting dashboards
- Experience in partnership activation and stakeholder communications planning
- Available to work weekends and travel based on event dates
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and proven ability to meet deadlines
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Strong work ethic with team player mentality
- Experience working directly with MLB/MiLB clubs, youth sports partners, or national governing bodies (preferred)
