Job Summary
Pitch Deck Designer (Freelancer) to collaborate with new business and account teams, translating client objectives into visually compelling decks. Responsibilities include creating design templates, maintaining branding consistency, translating data into graphics and infographics, staying current with design trends, iterating based on stakeholder feedback, and managing multiple concurrent deck projects under tight deadlines. Must demonstrate strong typography, layout, storytelling, and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Google Slides. Remote-friendly within a marketing agency context.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years or more experience in Graphic Design or a related field
- Proven experience working as a strategic designer, with a focus on deck design, preferably within a marketing agency or similar environment
- Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of deck design projects, demonstrating creativity, technical expertise, and a keen eye for aesthetics, layout, typography, and visual storytelling
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and presentation software Google Slides
- Deep understanding of design principles, composition, balance, scale, and visual hierarchy, with a demonstrated ability to create designs that effectively communicate messages
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in design elements and formatting within presentation decks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members, clients, and other stakeholders
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Up-to-date knowledge of current design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in deck design
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and an understanding of how design can maximize engagement and impact within presentations
