Job Summary
Operate a pit loader to safely move materials and maintain quality stockpiles at Lemon Springs Quarry in Sanford, NC. Responsibilities include safely and efficiently operating the pit loader, conducting daily pre/post inspections, performing preventative maintenance, ensuring safe operations around conveyors, surge piles, and crushers, maintaining safe traffic flow on site, potentially operating other equipment (e.g., excavators, haul trucks), and assisting in training co-workers. Emphasis on safety leadership and adherence to company guidelines and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience to perform the responsibilities
- Experience in maintenance and operation of mobile equipment, construction equipment and/or equipment used processing plants
- Six months of experience operating and maintaining a front-end loader (preferred)
