Job Summary

Ensure great customer service by dealing a standardized, smooth, and mechanically efficient game while controlling game action and players. Deal and enforce game rules in accordance with departmental procedures, maintaining the pace of the game and providing prompt, accurate, and courteous service. Maintain the table tray, perform flooring or clerking responsibilities as directed by the Pit Manager, and cooperate with casino managers and floor personnel. Ensure guests are welcomed into a clean, safe environment by taking ownership of work area cleanliness and attend all required meetings and training. Work part-time shifts including weekends and holidays from 8 am to 4 pm during the September 14th through October 9th training class. Trainees must complete four weeks of unpaid training, pass a background check, and obtain a Minnesota Racing Commission license. Keep your own tips; many dealers earn $50,000+ annually. Required Qualifications

  • Reliable, trustworthy, pleasant personality, able to handle pressure and/or difficult situations
  • Must be able to quickly and accurately perform mathematical computations when determining winners and losers and collecting and paying out bets
  • Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods of time
  • Must possess good manual dexterity for quick and accurate handling of chips, cards and money
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations with co-workers and guests in fast-paced environment
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces
  • Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues within peripheral vision
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds and air quality
  • Must be fluent and literate in English
  • Must be able to pass a background check and obtain a Minnesota Racing Commission license
  • Must be able to attend all training class dates
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
