Piping Superintendent

Job Summary
Oversee field piping activities on commercial/industrial construction projects; lead piping crews, coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials to support schedules; ensure safety, quality, and productivity; read blueprints and isometrics, interpret project specifications, and track progress; collaborate with Project Managers, Foremen, subcontractors, and clients; mentor Foremen and field staff; support turnover, startup, testing, and commissioning; maintain strong relationships with customers and inspectors.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 7–10 years of industrial or commercial piping experience required
- Previous Superintendent or Foreman leadership experience required
- Strong knowledge of piping systems, installation methods, and construction practices
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Experience coordinating multiple crews and large-scale projects
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safe work practices
- Ability to manage schedules and adapt to changing project demands
- Proficient with basic computer systems and construction documentation
