Job Summary
Journeyman Pipefitter position in Phoenix requiring installation, assembly, and maintenance of piping systems. Read and interpret blueprints and specifications, perform welding and soldering to join pipes, install supports, test for leaks, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with project managers and other trades, maintain quality workmanship, and work in commercial/industrial facilities across the United States. Requires completion of an accredited pipefitting apprenticeship or equivalent experience and a journeyman certification/licensure as required by state or local regulations; proficiency with welding (SMAW/GTAW/FCAW) and familiarity with HVAC/plumbing/process piping is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited pipefitting apprenticeship program or equivalent experience.
- Valid journeyman pipefitter certification or license as required by state or local regulations.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of safety standards and OSHA regulations related to pipefitting and construction.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working in confined spaces.
