Job Summary
Mechanical & Piping Engineer for AFRY Solutions Spain. Develop 3D plant models and piping design focusing on equipment and piping (E3D/PDMS), perform piping calculations, BOM preparation, RFQs, and technical consultations. Interpret P&IDs and PFDs, create isometrics, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure deliverables meet quality, timelines, and client expectations. Requires 5–10 years of hands-on experience, a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline, and proficiency with CAESAR II, Aveva E3D, AutoCAD, and related tools. Fluent in Spanish and English with strong technical reporting and documentation skills. Proactive, accountable, and able to work in international environments."
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- 5 to 10 years hands-on experience developing 3D models for plant engineering focusing on equipment and piping (E3D or PDMS)
- Piping engineering design, calculations, project execution, or technical consulting
- Knowledge in ACAD and MS Office
- Interpret P&IDs, PFDs, and piping layouts
- Experience with engineering tools (e.g. Excel, CAESAR II, AutoCAD, E3D, or similar)
- Fluency in Spanish and English
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Teamwork and coordination skills
- Proactivity and accountability
