Job Summary
Maintain the flow of stocked and delivered inventory in the pipe yard by pulling material, loading/unloading onto trucks, stock-to-bin transfers, and placing new material into yards or bins. Learn MRC Global products, procedures, and the company software; perform inventory audits; inspect materials for quality; mark materials with identifying information; transfer material to shops for modifications; pull orders for delivery; operate forklift, overhead crane, and other warehouse equipment; keep yard/warehouse clean per OSHA policies; report hazards and injuries; and perform other duties as assigned while upholding safety and company guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable record
- Two years of warehouse experience
- Working knowledge of pipes, valves, fittings, and electrical materials
- Ability to learn MRC Global software and scanners
- Forklift crane and other warehouse equipment certification or ability to obtain
- Good interpersonal skills with local management and other personnel
- Ability to work overtime and shift work
- Ability to read and speak English proficiently for safety and instruction
- Ability to provide documentation verifying legal work status
- Compliance with MRC Global guidelines and Code of Conduct
