Job Summary

Review pipeline records, system details, and ongoing operations to support project optimization and design documentation. Analyze historical cost data for accurate estimates and prepare RFP packages for pipeline and wellsite projects. Gain exposure to inline inspections, free standing liners, and composite pipelines while acquiring hands-on experience with industry software including Maximo, Abadata, Accumap, Cambio, Aucerna, and Tableau. This role is part of the Development Operations team at Canadian Natural, one of Canada's largest independent oil and gas producers. The position requires a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th-year engineering student with a valid Class 5 Alberta driver's license, working a 5/2 schedule from January, May, or September 2027.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in your 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of an engineering degree program
  • Chemical, Process, Mechanical, Energy, and Petroleum/Oil & Gas disciplines
  • Possess a valid Class 5 Alberta driver's license or equivalent out of province license
  • Motivated, collaborative, organized, and able to manage competing priorities
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada with no restrictions
