Pipeline Skilled Laborer

Job Summary
Perform facility construction, general maintenance, and cleanup duties on well sites. Install and repair piping, valves, pumps, motors, and pipelines, including hydrotesting above ground pipe. Operate backhoes, skid steers, and other lifting equipment using hand and power tools. Execute well pad reclamations and adhere to safety protocols, DOT regulations, and federal/state laws. Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including inclement and noisy environments, with frequent weekend hours and a 24/7 schedule. Travel to field sites daily. This role supports Badlands Contracting's mission in oil and gas operations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or GED
- Must be willing and able to work in a field environment in all weather conditions and noisy environments
- Must have the ability to use hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, moving materials and manipulating things
- Must be willing and able to work as needed on a 24/7 basis
- Travel to field required daily
- Manual and finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination sufficient to operate industrial machinery
- Full range of body motion to include handling and lifting
- Ability to repeatedly lift and/or move up to 65 (SIXTY-FIVE) pounds unassisted
- Visual acuity, hearing, speaking, reading, and writing must be adequate to perform all required tasks safely
- Must be able to wear a respirator when required
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of oil and gas operations experience preferred
- Experience working as laborer, including proficiency with all types of tools and equipment is preferred
- Demonstrated working knowledge of DOT regulations preferred
- Pipeline: 2 years
- Oil & gas: 2 years
- Industrial Construction: 2 years
