Job Summary
Develop, maintain, and optimize project Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules using Primavera P6 and TILOS to align with scope, contracts, and industry standards. Integrate labor, equipment, material, and permitting constraints specific to pipeline construction phases while managing multiple concurrent projects. Collaborate with project teams to gather accurate inputs, lead weekly schedule reviews, and communicate changes to stakeholders. Perform critical path analysis, risk assessments, and recovery planning for delays related to right-of-way access, weather, or third-party crossings. Provide reporting on milestone performance and Earned Value Management metrics to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred
- 3 – 10 years of scheduling experience pipeline construction projects (transmission, gathering, or distribution pipelines)
- Proficiency with Primavera P6
- Strong understanding of pipeline construction sequencing (clearing, grading, stringing, welding, coating, trenching, lowering-in, backfill, hydrotest, tie-ins, restoration)
- Ability to interpret alignment sheets, isometrics, ROW/permit drawings, and pipeline construction plans
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles
- Clear and confident communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent pipeline project schedules across fast-paced, large-scale construction operations
- Collaborative and proactive mindset, especially in field-driven environments
- Travel to project sites may be required
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred
- Experience with TILOS scheduling is preferred
