Job Summary
Manage midstream conceptual studies and detailed design projects across gathering, transportation, storage, and processing assets while holding profit and loss responsibility. Serve as the primary interface with clients from the private sector, federal, utilities, and municipalities, executing a seller/doer approach to program execution. Lead change management and make decisions based on company policies to achieve project deadlines. Coordinate with technical teams, contractors, vendors, and third-party surveyors, utilizing tools like Primavera P6 to oversee planning, resource allocation, and financial oversight. This remote role requires a valid driver's license and 10-20% travel to field locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years of related experience
- demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Proven track record managing midstream projects focused on pipelines, compressor stations, gas processing, LNG/NGL storage or terminal development from initiation through execution and closeout
- Valid driver's license
- willingness to travel to field locations as needed (typically 10-20%)
Desired Qualifications
- 6 or 8 years of experience
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams including engineering, construction, procurement, and regulatory compliance in the execution of projects across the midstream value chain
- Familiarity with pipeline and pipeline compressor station engineering principles, construction methodologies. Standards, safety regulations (e.g., DOT, PHMSA), and environmental compliance
- Experience with budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication
- Understanding and experience managing third party survey and specialty subcontractors as required
- Understanding and experience managing third party right of way acquisition subcontractors
- Coordination with pipeline engineering, mapping, and GIS staff
- Experience with terminal facility planning and design for the receipt, storage, transfer and distribution of hydrocarbons or other bulk commodities
