Job Summary
Pipeline Medical Science Liaison (MSL) focused on Neuro/Ophthalmology, serving as a field resource for Medical Affairs. Responsible for engaging external experts, referral networks, and healthcare professionals through balanced, evidence-based scientific exchange to inform Medical Affairs strategy. Supports patient recruitment and enrollment initiatives, identifies enrollment barriers, collects and reports insights from KOLs and sites, and educates referral sites on disease burden and evolving treatment paradigms. Travel up to 60–70% (including evenings/weekends) with international travel possible; requires compliance with PhRMA Code and internal policies. Collaborates across ophthalmology, neurology, rehabilitation specialties, optometry, and other healthcare professionals; supports pre-, during-, and post-congress activities, booth coverage, and congress debriefs. Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, andZoom; valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced scientific or clinical degree required (PharmD, PhD, MD, OD or equivalent)
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Medical Affairs, Clinical Research, or related scientific/clinical role
- Experience in Ophthalmology, Neurology, Immunology, Rare Disease, or Clinical Research preferred
- Ability to travel up to 60–70%, including evenings and weekends
- Valid driver’s license
