Job Summary
Pipeline Engineer responsible for pipeline design calculations (hydraulic loss, pipe sizing, material selection, specifications), preparing technical documents, developing pipeline alignments/routes considering constructability, environmental and geotechnical conditions, and crossings; perform buried pipe design calculations, external load analysis, and trenchless design; develop engineering drawing packages and pipeline alignment sheets for oil, gas, slurry, tailings and other projects; conduct site visits with experienced engineers to assess land features affecting route selection and constructability; requires travel up to 10% and collaboration in a team-focused environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET accredited institution. Mechanical or Civil Engineering is preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in long distance pipeline or station piping systems design.
