Job Summary
Pipefitter Top Helper/Mechanic at Atlantic Staffing in Raleigh, NC. Duties include cutting holes, selecting and mounting pipe, assisting in installing valves/fittings, threading/grooving pipe, loading materials, cleaning work areas, assisting in installation of pumps, HVAC units, fans, air compressors, and high-pressure piping. Requires 3-5 years pipefitting experience, high school diploma or GED, own hand tools, physical ability to lift 50+ pounds, and background/driving checks. Schedule is Monday–Friday with 5 PM–1:30 AM shifts; $20–$28 per hour, temp-to-hire with 100+ years in business. Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in pipe fitting for welded pipe, brazed pipe, grooved pipe, hydronic hot water / chill water systems, installation of boilers, chillers, heat exchangers, VAV units, steam systems.
