Job Summary
Read blueprints and drawings to determine specifications for specialized piping installations. Installs and repairs pipes, fittings, and fixtures while measuring, cutting, threading, and bending materials to required angles. Perform routine maintenance, build estimates for work, and conduct periodic inspections to ensure safe and efficient system operation. Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate new installations and test completed work for necessary adjustments. Maintain work logs, manage storage areas, and supervise others on major installations when required. Requires minimum 7 years of related experience as a skilled pipefitter at a foreman level. Valid driver's license in good standing.
Required Qualifications
- Skilled pipefitter with plumbing/piping systems and fabrication experience
- Installation and modification experience at a foreman level
- Minimum 7+ years of related experience or equivalent knowledge gained through formal state determined education
- Valid drivers in good standing
