Job Summary
Pipefitter needed to review blueprints and specifications, layout large and small diameter mechanical piping, and install equipment such as clarifier, filters, aeration basin system, and pumps. Responsibilities include monitoring on-site safety, assisting the Project Superintendent with labor oversight, understanding equipment installation, alignment, and anchoring, knowledge of crane rigging and signaling, and familiarity with piping materials (PVC, Steel, SST, DIP). Also requires knowledge of forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift operations; ability to work on professional construction sites in all-weather conditions; ability to read printed materials and directions; and flexibility for potential overtime. Pre-employment drug screen is required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- At least Five (5) years of experience installing piping and equipment on multi-functional water/wastewater projects required
