Job Summary
Follow Joy, DOT, and OSHA regulations while assisting crew in manual work to maintain job progress. Thread pipe using a threading machine or hand threader, then assemble and install metal pipes, fittings, and clamps to complete installations. Join piping via welding and other approved methods, securing pipes to structures with brackets and hangers. Inspect and test the piping system for leaks. If driving a company vehicle, operate it safely according to the Driver Handbook, performing daily pre- and post-trip inspections. Requires a DOT physical; CDL-A drivers preferred. Includes paid technical training and a defined career path.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified in plastic pipe joining, pipefitter, and covered tasks associated with natural gas replacement work
- 2 to 3 years of job-related experience
- DOT physical required
Desired Qualifications
- CDL-A drivers preferred, but not required
- Experience in related trades is also helpful (Concrete, Electrical, Asphalt, Trucking...Etc.)
