Pipefitter Journeyman

Job Summary
Plan and install piping systems for construction projects, including configuring pipe layouts, cutting, bending, welding carbon and stainless steel, installing valves (manual and electric), and ensuring systems are shut down safely before work. Perform threading, welding, and soldering of piping, clean debris, and maintain compliance with safety and building code regulations. Requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work in manufacturing, pipeline, and refining environments with exposure to noise, extreme temperatures, confined spaces, and PPE protocols. OSHA 10 is preferred; role involves compliance with EH&S policies and safety regulations. Minimum qualifications include three years’ pipefitting experience or a related apprenticeship, a high school diploma or equivalent (with vocational training), and meeting state license requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Three years’ experience as a pipefitter or pipe-fitter apprenticeship preferred.
- High school degree or equivalent educational experience; vocational school or trade apprenticeship required.
- Must meet all state license requirements.
