Job Summary
Lay out, position, align, and fit together fabricated parts while reading and interpreting blueprints, ISOs, field installations, material takeoffs, and specifications. Fabricate and install screw pipe, socket weld pipe, stainless tubing, carbon steel weld pipe, and miter all pipe. Installs valves, underground pipe, pipe hangers, and supports; perform steam and heat tracing, basic plumbing repair, and minor valve maintenance. Operate beveling machines, oxygen and acetylene cutting equipment, and pneumatic or electric tools. Test piping systems and leak test tubing systems. Requires minimum 4 years industrial construction or maintenance experience.
