Job Summary
Read and interpret blueprints, ISO field installations, material takeoffs, and sketches to fabricate and install screw pipe, socket weld pipe, stainless tubing, and carbon steel weld pipe. Miter and fabricate all pipe using beveling machines, lay out penetrations, and install valves, hangers, and supports in plant operations or construction job sites. Perform proper bolt-up of flanges and install underground pipe, steam, and heat tracing while adhering to all safety hazards and equipment operation requirements. Assist other craft workers as needed across varying terrain and weather conditions.
Required Qualifications

- Ascend and descend stairs, ladders, scaffolding, and other elevated work surfaces
- Frequently handle, operate, and use hand tools, power tools, equipment, instruments, and materials
- Frequently move, transport, position, push, pull, lift, or carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Frequently communicate and exchange information with crew members, supervisors, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and others
- Understand information presented through written, electronic, verbal, visual, and environmental sources
- Work in a variety of environments, including outdoor settings exposed to heat, cold, rain, humidity, wind, noise, dust, and other weather or site-related conditions
- Work in confined spaces, restricted access areas, or elevated locations
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with crew members, supervisors, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and others
- Read, interpret, apply, and communicate work instructions, plans, specifications, company policies, safety requirements, and regulatory standards
