Job Summary
Perform gas welding, brazing, and soldering of mild steel, stainless steel, copper alloys, cast iron, and other alloys using oxy/acetylene rigs, pipe threaders, and grinders. Determine pipe sizing and fittings to connect points, then thread, flange, or glue steel, s/s, PVC, CPVC, cast iron, or cast steel piping. Provide support and hang all piping while troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing wet/dry fire systems, hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum, and sanitary sewer systems. Establish safe working conditions using lock-out/tag-out procedures and company PPE. Required to perform general maintenance work and other duties as directed. High School Diploma and two years of manufacturing experience required; knowledge of process, surge, well, storm, and city water systems is a plus.

- 2 years experience in a manufacturing or factory environment
