Job Summary
Perform pipe welding primarily in a 1G position and must pass a test in a 6G position. Responsibilities include layout and fitting of pipe, offsets, bends, and radiuses; assembly and installation of hangers, pipes, and fittings using various methods including couplings, clamps, and soldering. Understand installation of piping systems according to contract drawings and maintain safety standards on the jobsite. Perform material takeoffs and conduct pipe testing and flushing as required.
Required Qualifications
- 4 years of Commercial or Industrial work experience
- Able to stand, lift, put together, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 lbs. without assistance
- Reliable transportation
- Tools of your trade
